A first Maria Szymanowska’s Parisian Salon at the Polish Library of Paris
The evening took place in a special, rather gloomy, Parisian atmosphere linked to the fire two days before the Notre-Dame Cathedral, but the warm welcome of the public confirmed the merit of the attention paid to the work of these two artists and their friendship whose symbolism counterbalanced a little the affliction felt at the destruction of this extraordinary monument.
